ABOUT THE ARTIST
EMMA ADLER
Emma Adler is a sculpture-focused artist from Westchester, New York. Emma Adler received her Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts from SUNY Purchase College in May 2022, with an emphasis on visual language and a minor in art history. Emma Adler is based in Atlanta, Georgia, pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
In Emma’s art practice, she specializes in large-scale pop art sculptures and digital Western pop culture media to contemplate psychological and philosophical values from her audience. Emma Adler began her practice founded on situationist artistic stances that invoked political and intellectual agendas in her early video installations. Emma Adler’s work is sculptural through 3D materials such as mirrors, metal, and silicone and digitized through electronic media and video content.
Emma Adler began her art practice in digital media and has now translated her work into sculptural language. Once she completes her Masters of Fine Arts candidacy at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Emma plans to earn a PhD in Art History and maintain an art studio specializing in mass media culture and the hyper-saturated world of online content.
